Responsibilities

  • Plan event from start to finish according to requirements, target audience, and objectives
  • Come up with suggestions to enhance the event’s success
  • Coordinate all operations
  • Approve all aspects before the day of the event
  • Ensure event is completed smoothly and step up to resolve any problems that might occur

  • Hybrid schedule: Provide 'day-of' support in Oakland and San Francisco offices when needed.
  • 5 years experience in event management or alike (corporate events within large-scale tech companies are a bonus)
  • Confidence in communicating with senior leadership and team leads.
  • Familiarity with G-Suite and Slack (foundational knowledge of key formulas and integrations)
  • Experience working with communication and web design (IE: presentations, signage, event brochures, email, etc) within Canva, Adobe, or other similar platforms.
  • Project Management experience: prioritizing events, timely response, and tracking (within JIRA, Asana, Planned or alike).
