Responsibilities

Transfer data from paper formats into computer files or database systems using keyboards, data recorders, or optical scanners
Retrieve data from the database or electronic files as requested

qualifications

Fast typing skills; Knowledge of touch typing system is strongly preferred
Excellent knowledge of word processing tools and spreadsheets (MS Office Word, Excel etc.)
Basic understanding of databases
Good customer service skills
Great attention to detail

Perform data entry for an interpreter services company - will receive requests via email/phone and need to transfer the information into their web-based program
Strong attention to detail and accuracy required
Comfortable with computers
Strongly prefer a candidate who knows a second language (such as Spanish, Cantonese, or Mandarin)
