Responsibilities

  • Transfer data from paper formats into computer files or database systems using keyboards, data recorders, or optical scanners
  • Retrieve data from the database or electronic files as requested

qualifications

  • Fast typing skills; Knowledge of touch typing system is strongly preferred
  • Excellent knowledge of word processing tools and spreadsheets (MS Office Word, Excel etc.)
  • Basic understanding of databases
  • Good customer service skills
  • Great attention to detail

  • Perform data entry for an interpreter services company - will receive requests via email/phone and need to transfer the information into their web-based program
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy required
  • Comfortable with computers
  • Strongly prefer a candidate who knows a second language (such as Spanish, Cantonese, or Mandarin)
