Responsibilities

  • Understand requirements for each event
  • Plan event with attention to financial and time constraints
  • Book venues and schedule speakers
  • Research vendors (catering, decorators, musicians etc.) and choose the best combination of quality and cost
  • Negotiate with vendors to achieve the most favorable terms
  • Hire personnel
  • Manage all event operations (preparing venue, invitations etc.)
  • Do final checks at the day of the event (e.g. tables, technology) to ensure everything meets standards
  • Oversee event happenings and act quickly to resolve problems
  • Evaluate event’s success and submit reports

  • Proficient in MS Office

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

● Oversee the daily facility operations of community spaces, including lounges, event spaces, and outdoor areas..
● Coordinate and supervise third-party vendors for all requests including maintenance, installations, and other services.
● Assist in planning, curating, and implementing community and corporate events, ensuring seamless execution.
● Manage the event space booking process in collaboration with the marketing and events team members.
● Support the hiring, training, and scheduling of onsite greeters and other event staff as needed.

EXPERIENCE AND REQUIREMENTS
● A minimum of 2 - 4 years of experience in site management, event coordination, hospitality, or a related
field.

Mandatory onsite requirement: Sunday - Thursday 8:30am - 6:15pm.
● Responsibilities will require ad adjusted work schedule at times, travel, overtime, evenings/other weekend hours to meet deadlines and special events - (Non-negotiable)
